Google OS is coming out!
This post from Jason Calacanis scares the crap out of me.

Talking about Google OS to compete with Microsoft is just not possible so far. If Google is creating an OS that hasn’t seen the light yet, they won’t release something as good as Window 2000 on the first release. I’m not saying that in 10 years they get close to want Microsoft has right now. My 2 cents in all this is that any company trying to create an OS from scratch will take those 10 years to get to Windows XP at least. Looking how Microsoft releases OS as fast as they can, catching a fast train like that is almost impossible. Even if you believe that MS is not releasing Windows fast enough, think about how fast from Windows 95 to Windows Vista.
Why Is Google trying to write an OS? Would that OS be Windows capable? The most important question, would that OS run the .NET framework?
What about the Office Suite that Google created? Jason believes that Microsoft Office is done! Like the Linux office? What was that program called? Star Office? Let me Google it to see what was the name …. J
