Lately people started talking about Caching again!

Now Scott http://scottwater.com/blog/archive/asp-net-caching-tips/ posted a great article about best practices in Cache

My previous post in the matter: http://alpascual.com/blog/al/archive/2007/02/21/I-was-wrong-again-about-Cache_2E00_.aspx talking about how Cache cannot be added into a web farm out of the box.

This is a great tool I found about caching, a must have http://aspalliance.com/cachemanager/ to see what is in the cache, instead of cache manager, shall we call it cache explorer?  You can always check the cache counters in the performance monitor http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/fxk122b4.aspx

Mastering the cache in ASP.NET can make a difference in a slow application to a fast application, I’ll let you know when I master that part of the ASP.NET ;-), for now, follow Rob Howard’s articles.

Cheers

Al
