This is really sad. Kiko http://kiko.com the best calendar I have seen in my life is for sale at eBay
Nobody has bid at all yet. The software is fantastic; the use of Ajax and javascript to drag anything around is great.
Behaves like a windows application. For 50K anybody can create a company around a calendar like that, beat Google or MS live calendar. It’s sad that a product that good did not take off. We should not bother to keep writing any kind of components.
Don tries to explain why it failed: http://dondodge.typepad.com/the_next_big_thing/2006/08/hindsight_20_le.html
If I had 50K I'll be buying at least the url!
UPDATE: They sold me for more than a quarter million dollars. Well a little bit more that I wanted to offer. I guess that Google Calendar http://www.google.com/calendar/render that I cannot even used with IE7! *WDF*, will be the next calendar of choice. Still sad. I hope the person that purchased Kiko will keep it free for all of us, so we don't have to go to Google.
