I just read the Professional C# 4 and .NET 4 from wrox, wrote by Christian Nagel, Bill Evjen, Jay Glynn, Karli Watson and Morgan Skinner. This is a complete book in what’s in .NET 4 as well as a great book for anybody jumping in .NET. They did a great job including all the important parts of .NET as well as the new version 4.

As I was reading, my first impression was how far .NET has gone since version 1.0, the different platforms including WPF, Silverlight, ASP.NET ADO.NET, LINQ and PLINQ now as well and my new favorite the Entity Framework.

Any developer will find great value by using this 1415 pages book as a reference or as a good learning for beginners. I would recommend this book for any developer level, there is enough detail in each section to help you our in everyday’s tasks as your personal reference as well as giving you new information to be productive when you come from .NET 3.5.

For more information or question follow wrox at twitter.

Cheers

Al
