Showing busy indication on ESRI Web Map control

A quick note to all people using GIS from ESRI or the Map control. Rex Hansen, one of the top software developers working on the ADF library posted step by step article how to show the busy indicator for the map while the tiles are loading.

My busy indicator does not work. It stays there after the map has loaded

Rex, I keep getting "map.pendingTiles is null or not an object" error message. I installed 9.2 service for .net framwork. But couldn't make it work. What is your suggestion? Thanks
